1. We’ve had 2 Akitas. They are the best dogs. We just had to put they latest one down. Very hard. But, looking to get a new puppy.

   1. Hello. I will be breeding June through September. I should have pups at that time but I already have about 10 deposits. I take early deposits so my pups are usually sold before they are born. I’m taking deposits for fall litters currently.

   1. Hello, Nancy. I am sorry, I did put all puppies sold on the top, but did forget to put Lexi was sold above her photo. I do not have any puppies available right now. I am expecting a litter around April 26th and May 10th.

   1. Hello, Willis. Why did you decide you wanted an Akita? Akitas are different than any other breed I have ever owned. They are very loyal and faithful, but also command a firm hand. However, some Akitas are less dominate than others. Do you have anyone living with you to help out or would it just be you and the Akita? I have no problem with you having one of my Akitas, he would most definitely be a great helper with the proper training.       1. Hi I’ve been researching the breed for a long time now but read conflicting reports on some things. I have 2 cats, is it a bad idea to bring an Akita home? I believe with proper training and temperament it would be fine but would like to hear from an expert before I make a decision.

      2. Hello, Lisa! It is a great idea to do a lot of research before thinking about bringing any puppy into your home, especially an Akita. As long as you bring a puppy into the home and allow the cats and the Akita to get to know each other while the Akita is a pup it is usually fine. I have several Akita’s who live with cats and there are no issues. However, I can not promise you that, I just know it has worked out for my Akita’s in the past. Also, it can depend on the cat too, some cats will not accept a dog, but if you are confident your cats wouldn’t mind it is highly likely to work out just fine with an Akita puppy. (My boy Kuma was best friends with a cat we had years ago) 🙂
